Fall Affair to be held thursday in Carroll

Carroll, Iowa -- The Family Resource Center in Carroll is hosting their annual fall affair Thursday night from 6:30-9:30 at Carroll County State Bank. Tickets for the event are $30 each and can be purchased at the Family Resource Center Wednesday or Thursday or at the door Thursday night. The event raises money to help purchase needed items for those in the community that is less fortunate. All the proceeds from the event go directly to the program and helps purchase things like, food, diapers, clothing, presents for less fortunate kids at Christmas time as well as many other needed items. Jeannie Running, Executive Program Director at the Family Resource Center says the event helps them raise needed items and also educate people about their services.

 

 

Anne Collision, a Board Member for the Family Resource Center says the program may help someone you know.

 

 

Last year they raised $13,000.
