Vail, Iowa -- Robert Rickers of Vail was selected as a winner in the America’s Farmers Grows CommunitiesSM.  The program through Monsanto allows farmers to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations.  Rickers designated the Ar-We-Va education foundation to receive the award for Crawford County.  Rickers along with members of the Ar-We-Aa School Board and a representative of Monsanto will be at the check presentation Tuesday, February 7^th around 7:00.  The presentation will take place between the girls and boy’s basketball games that night against Charter Oak Ute.
