Nate Greving honored as Kuemper sends one mock trial team to state tournament



Carroll, IA -- Kuemper Catholic Mock Trial sends one team to state highlighted by a record performance from Nate Greving.  The Kuemper gold team won both rounds of competition this week at the Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs which qualifies them for the state tournament in Des Moines later this month.  Nine students including Greving were given all district honors.  Greving was also given the honor of superior performance with a unanimous decision by all judges in all rounds which had never been done before.  Beth Wittry and Nick Brincks received all district honors for superior performance and team member Chad Heiman was nominated as outstanding witness.  The Kuemper red team went 1-1 just missing out on qualifying.  Tyler Badding, Matt Bowdin, Steph Venner, Chase Werden, Jess Buman and Lucas Slattery were all honored from the red team.  The Kuemper white team also went 1-1.  Aly Forbes, Mariah Masching and Kyle Vonnahme were honored for the white team.
